That’s just an example, and guess what, I have used this service. It was my first online marketing technique to promote my website. Does it attracts you too? With a promise like that, it’s hard not to get attracted! I was convinced that my ads would appear in million websites - I would get lots of visitors, get more sells, get more clicks for my adsense ads and Google will love me!
WRONG! Never trust this service. Why am I saying this?
- You’ll never get clicks. I love to see my awstats for my website performance from time to time. I’ve never seen a click from their main website within 2 months period, let alone from other website.
- If you do get clicks though, trust me, it doesn’t come from the people you want. These “robots” will put your ads into any websites, websites not related to your business. Let’s say your website only have 1GB bandwidth per month, and get lots of untargeted visitors, how much of quality visits you’re wasting if your site has reached the bandwidth limit?
My point is, try to find lots of targeted visitors. If you get 1 sale from 100 visitors, that would be OK; if you get more sales from 100 visitors, that’s just great! It means that you’re on the right track, and your site SELLS!
